Top 10 Good Things About Cancer

The Strange Journey may have a bright side - below is an attempt to recognize the sunshine peeking through the clouds - and to laugh.

10). I get to cancel my subscription to Weight Watchers

9). With constant use of crutches, I am pretty sure I could beat your grandma at arm wrestling (as long as she is un-well).

8). No more bad hair days.

7). Enhanced prayer life - both in asking for prayer and in receiving prayer (thanks here is not enough).

6). Not one episode of "Oprah's Farewell Season" will go unwatched.

5). Quality time with my dogs.

4). I could take up (on the suggestions of family and friends), the learning or pracitce of; morse code, knitting, semaphore (use of flags for signaling aircraft), teaching lizards to ride small skateboards, darning socks, I could really commit to nuturing a Pet Rock.

3). My favorite person in the world, my husband, brings me breakfast in bed every morning.

2). I will surely complete a new year's resolution of the past 15 years - to lose weight.

1). I am home more, to get and give more love than before cancer.

  2. know that there is someone to live an care for make life more better having to cope at college an still wonder how your mother is doing it get more painfull ,but look at my sister smilling an playing everyday give me the strenght to go on an i thank God for giving me a chance to show my mom all the love an trust in the world just hope an pray that she will get all beter for my little sister
